Boreas – the tallest Eucalyptus obliqua

The tallest known Australian oak (Eucalyptus obliqua L’Hér.). The tree is 88 m high and has a girth of 11 m and volume of 193 m3.

Boreas is located in one of the most impressive eucalyptus forests of the world in the Styx Valley. It grows near the north bank of Styx River north-west of the Andromeda stand – a site with especially many giant trees.
