Boreas – the tallest Eucalyptus obliqua

The tallest known Australian oak (Eucalyptus obliqua L’Hér.). The tree is 88 m high and has a girth of 11 m and volume of 193 m³.

Boreas is located in one of the most impressive eucalyptus forests of the world in the Styx Valley. It grows near the north bank of Styx River north-west of the Andromeda stand – a site with especially many giant trees.
